Say it's not so.... more snow comng into the North East starting late tonight... a true Noreaster' I am so ready for Spring. :worship: I stopped at the Super Wal-Mart last night on my way to the studio to do my radio broadcast, and a nice lady ask me if I came in early to beat the big crowds before the storm... :confused3 I had no idea we had one coming, then I noticed that was all everyone was talking about... so yeah I already had milk & bread in my cart.. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I just want a tuna salad on wheat today, with some chips and a pickle on the side, as i have a two hour webinar this afternoon, so I figured I'd make a nice lunch before I get into it..

So work for me today and then I'm taking off to enjoy the big snow! Nothing I can do about it, so I might as well enjoy it! :goodvibes

Bite your tongue Kitty!!!! My spring flowers are starting to pop!!!!

Oh how I can't wait for warmer weather!!!!

Have a great day:flower3:

I heard on the radio that North Jersey is expecting anywhere between 6 and 18 inches!!! Maybe I will move to Florida tonight!

I love snow, but I'm over it for this winter!
I want flip flop and garden digging weather!!!
I have friends coming for brunch on Thursday, and we are going to ignore theis darn snow storm! It's spring themed food for us!!

I currently have about 4 inches and still snowing in Southern New Hampshire right now.

How is it that something that can look so beautiful in December, covering the trees and transforming everything can look absolutely GROSS right now???? :lmao: Please tell me there is not more later this week ... I had got the bottom have of my driveway clear of ice.

DH and I have a wedding to attend in Cooperstown, NY this weekend. We're leaving on Friday and I'm worried about the drive up b/c of the snow. DH has a rental car while his is in the shop getting fixed and this car does not have all wheel drive like his does :headache:

Of course, I'm also worried once we get there. According to Accu-weather, they have snow in the forcast for Cooperstown from last Sunday until tomorrow and then again for the weekend. Total accumlation is 30.4 inches :scared1:. I'm not used to that much snow! The most we get here is maybe 12 inches or so (usually less).

I think b/c at this point, we are all ready for SPRING to arrive :thumbsup2 I want the warmer weather already.

If these kids are off from school again for snow I might have to tunnel my way out to Disney! Seriously when they are home from school on snow days all I do is cook and run the dryer for their snow clothes.

Oh well I guess I'll be stopping by the grocery store.

Where is Spring?

We are done with snow here, so not looking forward to more :guilty:! My poor spring flowers are still buried in the white stuff. I keep reminding myself this too shall pass and spring is just around the corner! :goodvibes

We've already had more than 3 times our "normal" yearly accumulation. Looks like we're going to be close to 4 times what we normally get, and that's before February is over. It's not unusual for our bigger storms to come in March.:headache:

We've beat the all-time snowfall record for a winter season, so I really hope we don't get more snow in the DC area.

WHAT ABOUT THE EGGS???? How are you going to make (the apparently) mandatory French toast if you don't stock up on all three ingredients???? :rotfl2:

South jersey here...Just drove past Shoprite and you'd think they were giving away carts full of groceries!!! Stopped at Wawa for bread and milk and the cashier said "Stocking up for the storm?" I responded "No, a family of six will eat these three loaves of bread in two days even without snow on the way!"

I figured I'd stop at Wawa since when I go to work this evening there won't be any bread or milk left...I work at a grocery store!!!

I am making french toast tomorrow!!! With blueberries and lemon sauce. I'm going to put it in my mouth and pretend it's warm and springy outside. I might wear my flip flops in the house too.

I already have eggs... french toast sounds yummy! ;)

Well, there ya go! Apparently, reports of snowstorms generate a primeval "need" for French toast - otherwise, why would everyone panic and buy out stores' stocks of milk, bread, and eggs? I mean, what, people don't HAVE food in the house already? We're going to get snowed into our homes for weeks - keeping in mind I'm referring to the snow-ready Northeast, NOT the unusually hard-hit Mid-Atlantic states?

Even Florida is turning cold again after just a few days of nice weather.

Al Gore, you have some splainin' to do...
