Snorkeling w/underwater cameras - watch out!

Was reading some older posts & just thought I'd mention that these cameras can get lost while you're snorkeling - as ours did on our first Magic cruise - if you carry them with the band around your wrist.
They become weightless & as I swam around, getting excited about the marine life we were seeing, I noticed that my camera had disappeared & all of my underwater pics & all of the pics from the beach & CC were gone! Don't want this to happen to anyone else.

It's a bummer that you lost your camera, and your irreplacable pics. But thanks for the heads up! I would never have tought to be aware that the camera will be weightless in water but now I will know and take precautions.
