Snorkeling in Stingray Port Adventure

The Castaway Cay Stingray Port Adventure says it includes 30 minutes of snorkeling. Is this snorkeling in the same lagoon as the regular snorkeling? I.e. does the stingray adventure also basically include the snorkeling rental (at least for 30 minutes)?

No, it's in the Stingray enclosure.

But you can keep the equipment after your Stingray encounter and go to the main lagoon.

Did this change due to Covid? It says in the app under the port adventure that the snorkel equipment is for use only in the stingray lagoon.

Unless they have changed it with covid, when we did our Stingray Adventure precovid the snorkeling gear was only for use in the stingray adventure area and had to be returned at the end of that port adventure. If you wanted to snorkel in the normal snorkeling area, you had to separately rent snorkeling gear or bring your own.
