We plan on doing the stingray excursion. I was wondering if it were possible to keep the snorkel gear the rest of the day, or if we had to turn it in and go rent different gear? Thanks for your help

I think you turn it in and then get other stuff. We had that and the snorkel equipment booked on our last trip to castaway but the stingray excursion was cancelled due to cloudy waters.

If you want snorkelling gear after you do the stingray excursion, you can book https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/port-adventures/castaway-cay-extreme-getaway-package/ It gives you the stingrays plus snorkel gear, bike rentals and float/tube for an extra $30 compared to the stingrays alone and is cheaper than doing stingrays plus just snorkel gear separately.

Yes, we looked at that as well, we will probably go that route if keeping gear from stingrays isn't an option. I was just trying to save some money. Thank you for the link!
