Opps...I mean Biker Chick Chat.

Did anyone else hear what I heard during that skit tonight?

Before anyone gets all worked up, it was at 12:43am or so when it happened, but it was a doozy of a slip. I'm not outraged, but I wondered if anyone else noticed. The audience got very quiet. but maybe that was because the skit wasn't very funny.

Livelounge was my favorite!

Maybe I wasn't paying too close attention because it wasn't that great, but I don't remember hearing anything scandalous...:confused3

I'm sure it will be erased by the time it's on in half an hour here, but there are articles about it online...

I'm just now watching it; thanks to Tivo. I caught it and saw that girl make a face, knowing what she just said was going to get her in trouble. You know they've slipped up on that word during rehearsals and read throughs...woops. It was a pretty stupid sketch...as were most of them, though.

LOL it's only 845pm here, so it hasn't aired. I'll watch for it though if they show it!

omg it made it onto the west coast broadcast. :rotfl:

I feel SO bad for the new cast member...but she rallied! None of them laughed, they didn't break, they did a good job!

ha. we actually rewound it because i thought i heard her slip, but i wasn't sure and sure enough! i can't imagine how you couldn't slip considering every other word out of their mouth was "freakin'".

She joined the Norm McDonald and Charles Rocket club! I remember watcing Weekend Update when Norm did that, and I have seen the edited sketch for Charles Rocket.

I think she is the the first F word live female though! As for Abby Elliot, she isn't really new-- she was featured last year. I couldn't really tell under the wig if it was Abby Elliott or one of the two new featured players.

The episode in of itself was pretty terrible. I think the staff did better over the weekend with the Thursday night show instead of the Saturday show. The sketches were pretty awful.. the Biker Chat one was pretty awful to begin with. I saw Kristin Wiig flub a line and throw an ashtray in frustration.

Kristin Wiig is the only non featured female cast-- I hope she doesn't get burnt out.

I found an article saying it was Jenny Slate. I hope they don't drop her for this.

I remember when Cheri O'Teri muttered the 'S' swear. It was that skit where she was Mrs. Delvecchio <sp>....the cranky lady in the housecoat who yelled at her neighbors and any time an errant toy or ball came into her yard, she'd say "It's mine! I keep it now!" At the end during the credits, they made her put money into a swear jar....very cute.

That Biker skit was a landmine to perform. As soon as it started, I knew one might fly out. Jenny recovered OK and Kristen stayed in character. She really amazes me with what she can do without stumbling over her own words. That's really a great talent born of a quick mind.

NBC is so lying! The MSN article about it said that they edited it for west coast. Oh no they didn't. They have in the past, and we've seen the edited versions, but on this one, someone messed up, b/c we have the same cable we've always had (my brother used to have fancy satellite where he could see feeds from different time zones, where he could see the live east coast and then later the taped west coast, for example, that's NOT what we have).

I really only watched that skit, we were saving it onto DVR anyway for hubby to see when he gets home. I did see the last U2 song...oh I want to go to their tour, I've been to so many...

Ok, I watched it on youtube...and I honestly thought it was going to be at the beginning! She recovered from that one but the look on her face when she realized she did say it was hysterical. I think after that, there were some nerves creeping in.

On a side note, DD LOVES SNL and especially Kristin Wiig. She imitates her character that can't keep a suprise all the time. ( Where she ends up jumping out a window) So I immediately called her at her Dads to see if she watched. She didn't. Whew.
