Back in 2003 there was an automated dinosaur that would sneeze on some lucky person. Is this still there? If so, where is it?:confused3

Triceratops Encounter - closed. I miss Cera and Topper! My kids remember one of them peeing.:rotfl:

I know Triceratops Encounter opened seasonally last year to help eat the crowds coming for HP. Does anybody know if they are planning on doing that again this year or not?

I also think there may be a sneezing Dino someplace on the JP ride, but I don't remember exactly if it's sneezing, or just a random airway/water spurt from a nearby dino.

There is a dinosaur on JP that spits on you. He is on the right side as you are going through the top of the building, right before the big drop.

I, too, miss this attraction; although a minor one, I really feel like the Jurassic Park area of the park--particularly the stretch closest to Wizarding World--suffers without it. Here's hoping it can be reopened more often or replaced with something new to bring life to a somewhat vacant area.

I really hope so. My son and I were on our own one morning in December 2010, hubby had slept in, and after riding Hippogriff 14 times in a row, we came across a suddenly open Triceratops Encounter. It was VERY exciting.

We met the one (Cera?) who had a baby, and they were walking around with the baby (or maybe the baby was Cera?), letting people pet it. It really felt real, got a little confusing there even for this grownup, and I love how into the the TMs get. They really stand firm in the idea that they are employees at THE Jurassic Park, which is a great park with no problems and why would there ever be problems in the future. Love that. :)

We have been extremely sad that it's been all closed up on our subsequent trips, mainly because DH missed it.

My son got to name the baby that was born at the center and even got a little certificate for it.....we missed the sneezer though....was going to try and catch it on this trip but now she may not even be around :(

We have video from the one trip we took with my in-laws. My FIL asks my MIL if it's real. She fusses him. It's classic them. They have both passed away since and I wanted to go there in memory of them. We will be there the week after Thanksgiving, so I don't think the crowds will be up enough to see it open. But at least I have the memories.

Thanks for the info.:)
