Sneak peek at Michaels coupons for next week

I have seen the Michaels ad that will come out in Sundays paper and there are some good coupons (at least in the Houston area). There is the normal coupon for 40% of any one regular priced item. Then there is a coupon for Friday 4/9 from 8am - 1pm and it is for 50% off one regular priced item. Then there is a third coupon which is valid Sat 4/10 from 6-9 pm and it is 30% off your entire regular priced purchase.

If you're needing something from Michaels, you may want to wait for this ad.

Ooooooo....although Michael's bugs the heck out me, I might have to go and get that Slab....and I need to replace some crummy album covers that cracked...maybe I will use the coupons for two of those. And the Sizzix.....haven't looked at the dies in awhile...maybe I will finally get a tag die.

Does Michael's have the Jolee's Disney embellishments yet? I
haven't been there for awhile, and I remember a post that said
they would be in stock early April. Does anyone have the scoop?

I went to two Michael's today; didn't see any Disney Jolee stickers.

I went to the first one (the good one) with the intent on getting either a replacement binder style album (my 2001 one broke---only use CM albums now!) or a Sizzix tag die. Well, I realized I had the 30% & 50% coupon in my purse, but not the 40% one that was good today (the other's are only good on Friday). So, I walked out with nothing. BTW, that Michael's had a very good selection of Sizzix- I know that was debated her awhile back. They had the playground style of Sizzlets, and several of those paddle looking designs.

So I go to Michael's #2 with my 40% off coupon, the crummy one that is closer to my house. Get this----they have the Sizzix display under freaking lock and key! You can see everything, but a salesperson has to get what you want. They must have major troubles with shoplifting! Yikes! I told you this Michael's was crummy! Well, they didn't have the tag die (GRRR) but had a lot of others in stock. So, I got the binder with my 40% off coupon, and will go back to the other one next Friday morning- hopefully they will still have the tag die. Otherwise I am going to go to the Michael's in the swanky neighborhood and see what they have. I did get a binder tho for only $10-something. Good deal. I realized I had 3 really cheapie binders though (I thought I only had 2---I went through this ultra-cheap album phase in 2000-2001----I just bought regular binders at Office Max and then used the photo safe page protectors ---now 1 of the 3 cracked and broke...I should just replace the other two this weekend). Best bonus of the day----found an extra 50% off coupon in a cart, so if I feel like going to two Michael's on Friday, I can get two things 50% off! Maybe another binder and that tag die..............

And P.S....I am nickel and diming it with Michael's.....but I spent $112 at a Pampered Chef party tonight~! I think I have spent close to $300 on PC in the last 6 weeks (my own party, ebay, this party), and still want another $50 worth of stuff! I'm invited to another party in two weeks, and I think I'll just get the rest of what I want and be done with it. Happy cooking for me! I'm just peeing my pants cause the things I REALLY want NOW I bought on ebay and they're not here yet. one seller is being very communicative and said it would be shipped tomorrow...another is being semi-good about communication, and the other is on my list to file with paypal...although one can get fab deals on ebay, I definitely know whom to buy from and whom to avoid from now on re Pampered Chef!

have to wait a little longer for them. I just signed up to be a consultant for Top Line Creations and I will be flying out to Salt
Lake City next month for their convention so I better save up for

You may want to doublecheck the date on your 30% coupon. Mine is good on Saturday only - not Friday.

It is so easy to get hooked on Pampered Chef. My SIL sells it and I've bought several things from her. Thank goodness she doens't live real close to me or I'd probably be buying lots more. Now, if I would actually cook and use some of it.

You're right; the 30% off coupon is for Saturday. I think I probably won't use that one though....I'll just use both my 50% off ones and get an album at one store and a Sizzix die at another.

I just went to Micheael's in Manchester today -- and they have the new Jolee's Disney stickers. They are great. They (at least some of them) can also be found at www.mousememories.com

I "adopted" a disney jolees from micheals in Grandville, MI while visting my parents last week of March. THe new Micheals in Holland, MI didn't have jolees as of 4-5-04 per my mother. I have to get my butt down to my micheals here in Ohio to see if they have yet.

Going this weekend to use my coupon. My husband and I had to each get a paper, because he uses the coupons also. He went so far as to hide the 50% and 30% off coupon from me, so at first I thought we hadn't gotten one for the stores here. My daughter picked up one for me from the dorm, so I'm set. It should be a crime for husband's to steal a Michaels coupon! The good thing is that he usually picks stuff that I can then "scrap-lift" off of him. . I'm planning to get a heat embossing gun. I doubt we have jolees stickers yet, we still didn't have sizzlets the last time I checked.
