Snacks on a plane

Almost anything that doesn't have a strong odor. You don't say what airport, but many have good options. Since you are eating them soon, you can get items like salads, wraps, etc. On your return flight, MCO has many good options.

For items packed from home, I like fruit-chia bars. I'm also partial to chia shots. Those are just pure chia seeds, so not to everyone's liking, but they last forever, and are very healthy. no sugar at all. Chia is what native Central American message runners ate. Those were the folks who ran up and down mountains to deliver messages.

I'm not above goldfish crackers, but calorically speaking, starch is pretty much the same as sugar. Potato chips actually have a higher glycemic load than raisins, and white flour isn't much better than potato.
