Do you have any snacks I shouldn't miss out on?? I heard Dole Whips are fabulous.... anything else??

Thanks!!

I haven't actually had it yet (I plan on having it on my next trip) but I have heard the Butterfinger cupcake at Starring Rolls at Hollywood studios is really good. I love getting the classic mickey ice cream bar at least one time during a trip and I also really like the sweet cream cheese stuffed pretzels at MK.

A Mickey ice cream bar and anything from the caramel shop in Germany in Epcot :thumbsup2

The sugar cookie at Pop Century....and if you don't use all your snack credits...the cheese (goldfish-like) mickey heads are a great snack to tuck in your suitcase and bring home for after the trip!!

There are two types of snack people....
The sugary sweey dessert people, who seem to be the ones replying so far (minus the vodka fan ;) )...and then there are the rest of us. I like my snacks savory and filling. I'll vote for veggie eggrolls, available at a few different places, my favorite being at a kiosk in the walkway between Asia and Africa, in AK :thumbsup2

At the bakery on main street there are 2 that you absolutely need to get.

1) cinnamon roll for breakfast. They are enormous...big enough for 2 easily and 3 or 4 if you are light breakfast eaters. Its a great way to get a breakfast with your snack and if you take a bottle water or buy a juice/milk its breakfast on the cheap quick, good, and easy

2)stop back here any afternoon and get an ice cream sandwich...not a little mickey head sandwich...2 huge homemade chocolate chip cookies the size of small snack plates with a couple giant scoops of vanilla ice cream. This is so big I am surprised it is a snack and very good. Easy for 2 or more to share. We shared it between 4 people and had plenty

Red Velvet cupcake at Starring Rolls
Carrot Cake Cookie at Writers Stop in DHS
Chewy Caramel Bar from Karamel Kuche in Epcot

Everyone says Dole Whip, but I was underwhelmed by it. I guess I built it up too much. It is refreshing though.

Oh, those are good! I also like the jalapeno & cheese pretzel in Animal Kingdom.

We loooove the Dole Whip. Love the Dole Whip floats even more!:lovestruc

Also, School Bread from the bakery in Norway. Best.snack.ever!:worship:

have to interject a couple of comments on the snack recommendations...

first, the cinnamon rolls at Magic Kingdom Main Street Bakery are still huge...but quality has gone down drastically! If you want to try one, I suggest getting one in the middle of the day when they are actually baking fresh ones...the last 3 times we've tried to get them first thing in the morning, we found they are serving refrigerator-ice-cold, stale rolls from the night before (not freshly baked, ooey-gooey warm rolls like they used to do.) We've tried several different times this year, and the cold-straight from the fridge rolls apparently are the new-norm first thing in the morning (regular park-opening time, not early magic hours.) The darn things were so cold, the "gooey" frosting was solid and cracked off in chunks...and the roll itself was so stale you could barely bite off a bit...chewed like jerky instead of sweet roll.

And second, good luck with getting the ice-cream-cookie-sandwich. People continue to report getting these for a snack credit at Main Street Bakery...they must be getting some great pixie dust, because we've heard "no" several times. In February, the guy in front of me in line actually left several of them melting on the check-out counter when the CM told him "no, only items with the dining plan symbol are allowed for a snack credit." At the resort counter service, it's a definite no-go for these goodies...I asked two different times at POFQ bakery/ice cream counter and was told just a flat "no, sorry...anything on the bakery menu except not the ice cream cookie sandwich and not the 6 pack beignets." The 2nd time, the CM said you could use 3 snack credits to get one sandwich: each cookie is a snack credit and the ice cream scoop in the middle is a snack credit so that would = 3 snack credits.

We do like the Dole whips...and the bakery items at Kringla BAkeri (Norway/Epcot) as well as the bakery in France...dessert items from the bakery counter in Sunshine Seasons is also very good.

the cinnamon rolls were during the extra magic hours this july and were great. not stale, hot, fresh, and covered in great icing.

the cookie was this same trip. I have heard no at the resorts to this being a snack but i got the cookie sandwich 3 times as a snack this july over our 8 days there.

goodluck if others have been having issues.

I never post here anymore but I had to login to tell you this....

CINNAMON ALMONDS.

Sooooo good! Usually buy 2-3 more and bring them home (i'm about 3 hours away from Orlando).

You can find them in MK in Adventure Land or Fantasy Land (next to Dumbo) and at DTD.

The carmel popcorn is also delicious! Although, you have to buy these at the shops. But you can buy it and have it with ya for the parade or fireworks :)

I love everything at MK bakery!!! I also love the Mickey Rice Krispie bars that we can dip or get different stuff on from DTD (they arent on the DDP any more though) but they are worth it!

I agree, the cinnamon almonds are really good, but they don't hold a candle to the cinnamon pecans!

I must be about 4, but I always love buying a pack of gummy Mickey's and eating them around the parks.

The cherry turnovers, at the Main St Bakery, call to me as I pass by. And anything at the Boulangerie Patisserie in France. I always make sure we stop by on our way out of the park to pick up breakfast for the next morning. Yum.
