Snacks at HS

Hi All,
We love to snack all day at Disney, but we never look forward to the snacks at HS. Maybe we just haven’t found out about the best treats yet! If you know of a “to die for” snack (sweet or savory) at HS, please share! We’d love to try something good this time!

The ice cream booth heading down the road toward TOT has the ice cream sandwiches with the fresh baked cookies. They are really yummy.

We got this last trip from Oasis Canteen. It is a snack credit if you are on the DDP. So yummy! We are planning to get it again next August. Have to eat it quick in the summer as it melts fast! Definitely big enough to share. This is a picture from the Disney Food Blog, but it looks like what we got there.

Wow, that looks delicious! Is it some sort of funnel cake? Where is Oasis Canteen located?

It is delicious and yes, it is a funnel cake with soft serve ice cream/strawberries/chocolate sauce.
Oasis Canteen is next to Indiana Jones Stunt show / across from Echo Lake.

We just had the darth Vader cupcake at backlot express and it was delicious! Our niece was given one for free for her birthday and we split it 4 ways. Probably one of my favorite snacks the whole trip!

Some cupcakes aren’t but this one was! We all looked at it and went “wow! They gave us this for free?” I definitely recommend trying one. We needed to use a qs meal at hs and I read that backlot was a good option and I agree. We thought it was pretty good food for qs.

Yes! This was so good and a fantastic use of a snack credit.

Just had the Carrot Cake Cookie from Sweet Spells last week. More like a whoopie pie. 2 huge moist cake-like cookies with a thick layer of sweet cream cheese frosting between- delicious and definitely enough to share.
Also the California Cheese & Charcuterie Plate at Baseline TapHouse is amazing!

We usually just get fruit from the area on the street to ToT (boring I know) but sometimes I go wild and crazy and go to the ice cream joint at the end of that street right before RNRC.

Another vote for the carrot cake cookie. My teen insists that they only reason we spend 2 days at Hollywood every trip is so I can justify eating 2 cookies on the trip. Its incredible, on our 1st trip I got one my daughter separated it in 2 ate all the icing and gave me back the cake part. This was so good that 12 years later she still remembers eating the icing.

I used to get the fruit tart at Starring Rolls but not sure if they have it anywhere else now that Starring Rolls is no more.

My favorite is the giant Peanut Butter Mickey Cookie with chocolate dipped ears at Sweet Spells. You can get the chocolate chip and sugar versions at other places, but that is the only place I have seen the peanut butter one. Just brought one home last week! Some of the whoopie pies look good, but it is the cookie for me!

That looks so good. Do they allow you to take food into the Indiana Jones Show? Might be a good way to kill time while waiting for the show to begin. Yum!
