Snacks allowed with Dining Plan

Thought I would start a thread on all the snacks you have been able to purchase/use with the Dining plan. Please include where you purchased it, and if you had to beg for it to be included!

I thought the snacks allowed were limited to those listed within the dining plan are people getting different things? I thought it was the : popcorn, ice cream novelty, medium soft drink, or bottled soda/water. Since the CM scans/swipes the room key, if someone tried to get something not included in the "official" snacks, wouldn't it not be covered? We stuck to the bottled soda, and the Nestle ice cream sandwiches. Then again, I do recall passing by a thread in which someone mentioned the frozen cokes, but I don't remember if it was from the dining plans snacks or not.

Thanks...I tried a search but did not come up with those links!

But why isnt the snack list Universal...as in everywhere it is the same...all includes Rice Krispies or Apple Juice? Why so many conflicting stories?

It seemed that the hotel food courts were more flexible with the snack options. They would ring up items not listed on the plan (such as a scoop of ice cream) as a fountain drink or something.

How about fruit? Would love it if the kids could get fruit (banana, or bunch of grapes) as a snack to be eaten with our in-room breakfasts before heading out to the parks for the day. I doubt we'll be squeezing a snack in between lunch and dinner or even after dinner with all those desserts included with our meals.

A single piece of fruit is now included on th plan as a snack.
