We have a 10:20 am ps for PSB and wanted to try something little at each country so we can avoid having to buy a full lunch later (although I bet all those snacks may add up to more then lunch might;) ). Plus I think snacks will keep dd4 interested in seeing more of WS (something about kids & snacks - doesn't it seem like they are asking for "snacks" all day long).
Can I get some advice on good snacks at each country? Some can be desserts but I think we would either gain 10lbs or get sick if we only ate dessert! I don't want to have to sit down so I looking for something we can grab & go.
A previous search revealed beaver tails in Canada & Kaki Gori in Japan. Can something explan what these are????? And get I get advice for the rest of the courntries too?
THANKS! GRACIAS! DOMO ARIGATO! MERCI!

Hi Erin! Kaki gori is shaved ice flavored with fruit syrups, similar to a sno cone. I've never had a beaver tail, but hopefully someone who's had one can post a description for you.

In Germany, there is a stand that serves pretzels. Boulangerie Patisserie in France has fabulous pastries. In Great Britain, about the only thing you can get to go is fish and chips from Yorkshire County Fish Shop, but they are delicious. At Cantina de San Angel in Mexico, the most portable thing would be the churros. Everything else is messy enough to require a stop to eat.

I'm not sure what the other countries have to offer for snacks, but I'm sure others will be able to make some suggestions.

I tried the beaver tail for the first time last yr. it is a piece of fried dough, thin and flat, I got the one with lemon juice and sugar on it. The people in front of me got strawberries and whipped cream. they were good, i'll get another one this yr and maybe try a different kind. :D

In Canada..if we don't get beaver tails...(it isn't always open), we get popcorn/chips and beer at the Moosehead shack..although it was under refurb last time we were there (spring). Hope it is back now.

Germany..we love to stop for brats. (wine tasting also..lol)

France, the bakery. (Kir Royals outside)

Norway has the bakery..also sandwiches.

Mexico churros.

US has turkey legs and funnel cake.

Uk the fish and chips. (beer and quick food inside the bar)

Japan..go inside..all the way to the back of the store and pick a treat...bagged or box..lots to choose from. There is like a little grocery store back there..all snacks basically and sake testing.

Italy...hmmm..that is where we test the wine..they also have chocolate..yummy.
