Which snack in which country would you recommend? Please let me know which World Showcase snacks you've tried as well as your favorite out of them!

Thanks,

BW :p

We went to Boulangerie Patisserie in France and it was great! Between the three of us, we got a ham and cheese croissant, a Napoleon, a strawberry somethin' good and a huge eclair. Probably the most important part about going there is getting a good table in France to eat and relax. The table we got made us feel like we weren't in Disney anymore. You couldn't see anything but the streets of France. The music, the smells, it was great.

I would have to say a Funnel Cake at the American Adventure! My daughter and I usually split one while waiting to view Illuminations. Joan:Pinkbounc

Kringle in Norway.

(The pastry shop in France is good, too).

Kaki Gori -- Japan -- sure it's just a crushed ice cone, but it is refreshing and light.

Red Bean Ice Cream -- China -- I didn't think I'd like it but it is quite good.

ANYTHING from the pastry shop in France! YUM!!!!!

On our upcoming trip (we leave Sunday morning!!), I'm on a mission to get a BEAVERTAIL (Canada).

Sweet type snack - Rice Kreme or the iced Almond Raisen pretzel; or just about anything in France's bakery.

Other snack - Margarita and nachos from the Mexican snack bar, while I sit back and relax.

We always snack in Norway - rice cream, sweet pretzels, cinnamon buns.

Strawberry Creme Cake in Norway Bakery.

Funnel Cake - Stand in front of America

Beaver Tails - Canada....Plain w/cinnamon...NO FRUIT or syrup, bleeeech

Right outside Morocco, they have a little cart that sells some sweet stuff, and they have these Almond muffins. Sounds strange, but boy were they good. I hope they're there when I get back in May. That seems like forever!!

Maple Beaver Tails in Canada!

I'm commonly known as the "Dessert Queen" to anyone who knows me, but I HATED those beavertails!

Let's see ...

In Mexico, sometimes we'll get a kid's meal and share it, which constitutes a snack. Just enough to have a couple tastes. The margaritas aren't bad either ;)

In China, the eggrolls are good ...

In Japan, if you like sushi, sharing that makes a nice snack

In Italy, a cannoli is always yummy

I think my favorite snack would have to be the couscous salad in Morocco...

On my last trip, I tried the schoolbread from Norway. Delicious! And of course, I always have to get a caramel apple from the sweets shop in Germany.

 Chrissy

Okay guys you've got me hungry! I'll be at Disney with my family in December and now have a new quest...to snack my way around the World Showcase!

My kids aren't particularly fond of WS, but I'm hoping between the Santas and the Desserts I can bribe them! LOL
