Snack question

In the past we have not always been able to finish our snack credits and would buy snacks to take home from the gift shops such as candy, trail mix, mickey cheddar crackers, etc. Does anyone know if these still offered as a snack credit?

I have not used the plan myself since it restarted, but I have seen people say you can continue to use snack credits on packaged snacks.

Keep in mind that you now only get 1 snack credit instead of the 2 that was previously included.

Between desserts not being included in QS meals, only 1 snack credit pp/per day, and all the great options to use snack credits at the Epcot festivals, I feel like there is a MUCH lower chance now of having a bunch of extra snack credits.
