I've seen a lot of people saying that if they have left over snack credits at the end of their trip, they either buy up a lot of snacks and take them home or they pay for other guests' snacks who are in line. But I read on the WDW website that you can't use your dining plan credits for anyone who isn't on your plan. Just curious how people buy other guests' snacks then?

Whos gonna stop you buying a load of mickey bars and just handing them out?? We did it at the Main Street Bakery, just bought items for the family behind as we were leaving for the plane. It's also easy to buy and give away bags of candy

It is written in Disney's brochures and dining plan literature that guest should not use their DDP credits to purchase meals for guests who are not on their dining plan.

This board doesn't allow discussion of doing that, because Disney asks guests not to, so I'm going to close the thread before it goes that way. There is no way at all to monitor what is done with the snacks. There's also no limit on snack purchases in one transaction. Once you have your snacks, you can do whatever you like with them. Take them home, give them for presents, hand them off to other park guests, whatever.

What Disney really wants is to keep guests from buying full meals at the restaurants for others who aren't on their plan.
