Hope this hasn't been asked!
If we choose something as a snack that costs more than a snack credit, can we pay the difference? Say a pretzel is $5.00 and our credit is worth $4.50, can i pay the extra .50?
Thanks!

I don't think so. I don't think a location would have a way to handle a transaction like that, part credit and part cash for the same one item.

No, but a pretzel should be a snack credit. At least the Mickey head pretzels in Frontierland were. The snack credit does not have an exact value. Some things are more than $5 and are included and some are only $2. It is best to use your credits on the higher priced item if you think you will run out of credits.

Thanks! I was just using that as an example. we've always used the ddp, but I saw a treat my kids would love and wondered if it was workable since it was priced higher than the alloted amount.

Usually anything that is a snack on the DDP will have the snack icon placed beside it on the posted menu at the snack shops and carts. When in doubt just ask the CM. As the PPs noted, it's either a credit or it's not- you can't pay credit plus cash.

If something is a snack credit it will have the snack icon beside it as pp have said. It is not always dollar amt that determines a snack. That is why we get the dining plan during food and wine. Last year DH got a $8 lobster roll. It is either a snack credit or not. No way to pay the difference.
