Looking for the most cost effective, but quickest travel option from SNA and DLR and return. There are 3 adults and 2 kids 6 & 2 in a car seat and booster. I know at WDW taxis all have boosters/car seats, but what I've been reading for Anaheim this does not seem the case. I'm willing to bring a car seat and booster.
RT prices so far: Lansky looks to be $150, Super Shuttle nonstop van $124

Are there taxis available usually that can accommodate 5 with the 2 seats that I bring?
Is there still a flat rate for taxis of $45 from SNA to DLH?

Is the super shuttle nonstop van with others or just us? and would it truly be SNA direct to DLH no stops anywhere else?

TIA

The Grayline Disneyland Resort Express bus runs from SNA. No car or booster seats necessary. I know on the LAX shuttle DLH is the first stop.

There are Taxi vans typically on standby at SNA. I do not think there is a flat rate that direction, but fare should be right at $45 plus tip. you can get a voucher at DLH for the return trip that is $35 I believe.

Unless you book a dedicated Super Shuttle which costs considerably more, no telling how many stops or people your will have for the basic service. Personally hate Supper Shuttle. If you do not care about time or being crammed in with strangers and all that matters is cost, they are viable.

As much as I hate cabs, taxis are the fastest and most efficient outside of Uber in my opinion. DL Express is a good option if you do not wanna worry about car seats.

My concern with DLE is that it looks like they only leave SNA hourly by their brochure and we would make it there at about 1140 at best then have to wait another 50min. I've also read that they don't always get to the DLR until last dependent on what route is more convenient for the DLE. Any truth to this?

While the car seat isn't awesome to drag with us our flight is just from the Bay Area so it's not a huge deal and There's 3 adults to help so that's no big.

I would just take a cab (in your case, a van).
DONT do flat rate and DONT have the hotel arrange the return ride, it will be more than just running the meter!
I have always paid between $40 and $45 depending on traffic. (BTW, they don't charge more for passengers or luggage).

Not entirely accurate...the Valets at the three resort hotels can give you a voucher for a standby cab that is $35 flat rate to SNA. Metered rate runs $40-$50.

We've taken a Taxi mini-van with 5 people and luggage with no problem.
There have always been plenty waiting right at the transport center across the street from baggage claim.
I like the flat rate and have been able to get a flat rate from SNA to DLR area by asking.

I think we will just grab a taxi. One less thing to worry about before we go.

Is it certain companies or whomever happens to be in the taxi wait line that might do the flat rate?

I think you're going to have a hard time requesting a flat rate and then installing 2 car seats. That extra time negatively impacts what the driver is paid on a flat rate, they will want to run the meter.

For the retun trip, just ask a Valet Attendant for a flat rate voucher and it is good for any cab in the standby line at the three resort hotels.

When we went we just grabbed our luggage and headed to the taxi stand. There were regular and suv types there. They didn't have a problem installing my sons booster. I just wanted to get there and not deal with a shuttle or waiting. It took no time at all and cost $45 with tip. When we left PPH the bell desk gave me a $40 flat rate voucher and called a taxi which arrived in 5 minutes. So same as the price getting there with tip. I'm planning to try uber in August because it will be cheaper according to the website. I think you can order an XXL uber (from what I have read here!) and it should be able to accommodate your party.
