I have been on Star Tours several times and it makes me extremely nauseous...am I correct that Smugglers Run will be somewhat like Star Tours? A simulated flight ride? and Rise of the Resistance will be more of a physically moving vehicle ride (maybe somewhat like Dinosaur in AK?

It is a flight simulator but is not 3D. Some people are reporting they got motion sickness but others that said they can't ride Star Tours said they had no problem on the ride. The ones that said they felt sick mostly were in the pilot position so they were looking at the screen the whole time. When they were in other positions, it was not as bad.

ROTR is a trackless ride system. It will not be like Dinosaur where the vehicle will move other than moving along the floor.

Rise also has a "drop"

I heard that Smugglers Run was not motion simulated like Star Tours, is that correct or incorrect?

That's incorrect. I rode it last week 4 times flying in all three positions. I did find that I felt a little motion sick after being the pilot but nothing that didn't pass after a minute outside back in the air (and to be fair - I was a pilot on my third run in a short time frame so that also could have contributed to it!). If you play your role, you'll be looking back and forth between the screen and your controls. Pilot is a bit more intense as you're really steering so staring at the screen more and I think the motion felt more intense being closer to the "screen".

Awesome, thanks for the info. I was really worried.. if it wasn't motion simulated that would be really silly..
