I'm from NY/NJ where smoking is outlawed in all restaurants and bars . Is this the case at the restaurants and bars in Disney (including PI, jellyrolls, atlantic dance hall)?

it is not allowed in the parks but in certain areas. at no restuarant.

but jellyrolls allows smoking.

not certain about all the places in PI

I think I remeber reading in the Birnbaum guide to WDW that Flordia has a no smoking law in all public places this includes restaurants and I believe bars. I know MK is both dry and smoke free.

If the Birnbaum guide says that, they are wrong.

Smoking is allowed in bars that generate less than a certain percent of their revenue from food. Of course individual proprieters can ban smoking in any bar that they would like to, which is why Hard Rock Live and House of Blues Concert Halls are smoke free.

If you can't stand smoke, stay away from the Social downtown and the Haven in Winter Park--gag!!

Does anyone know if they sell lighters at disney? I never paid attention before if they did. From what I read on the TSA website lighters are forbidden in carry-on and checked luggage, but one is allowed 3 books of matches. . If anybody knows please post.

I don't like it at all! I have to walk outside to have a cigerette! But it is a good way to attempt to quit. Emphasis on attempt..........

They do and they are under the counter at the gift shops in the hotels, you just have to ask

Just think - all the money you'll save from not buying cigarettes can be put towards your next Disney trip (or your wedding)!

It has just been announced that smoking will not be allowed in all Walt Disney World and Disneyland resort guest rooms.

Although I smoke this really doesn't affect me. I never smoke in my room or on my balcony. I usually go to designated smoking areas and that's it.
