Since you didn't get an answer, I'll make a best guess.
Only four buildings will be open when you visit this December and all four of them are right next to each other. Since SSR had to offer smoking-optional rooms from Day One, my guess would be that all of them are currently concentrated in the first building that opened. I don't have the unit number handy, but, if you were standing in Downtown Disney, looking across the water at SSR, the first building that opened would be the one on the far left.
I doubt that the entire building is smoking-optional, so they may be able to provide rooms for your entire party in that structure. If not, the next building is only a 2 minute walk away.
