Okay, I hate to complain. If you are a smoker, please do not be offended, but I need a question answered. My DW and I recently purchased our DVC ownership at SSR! We couldn't be happier. A big "thank you" to anyone who ever rented me points before! Because of renting points, I became hooked.
On the last two visits to OKW, we somehow got placed in a room that was obviously a smoking room at one time. I'm sorry, I don't care how good the "chemicals" are, the moment you walk into the room you can smell the smoke and the chemicals used to try to hide the smoke. It literally makes both of sick to smell the smoke. We tried to change rooms, but was given the "we can't do that" and "Smoking is not allowed in the rooms, so I don't know why you smell smoke" (as if I made this up in my mind). We resorted to staying in the room.
My questions is:
Has SSR always been a non-smoking resort? Has there ever been a section that was "smoking rooms" in the past?
Has anyone else had this problem before? I think the only way they can get rid of the smell is to take out EVERYTHING!!!!! and fumagate!
Your thoughts please. . . . .
