Hello everyone. Our family is highly considering a trip to England and Disneyland Paris next year, and I have two smoking-related questions.

Is smoking allowed throughout the park or are there designated locations? Also, is it allowed in the Disney Hotels, or is non-smoking an option when booking? If we go we're considering Newport Bay or Hotel New York.

We'd be coming from America where smoking is regulated, so that is my point of reference. I have bronchial asthma which is triggered by smoke - - so naturally I'm sadly reconsidering my plans for this trip. I've never been abroad and I've always dreamed of going.

Any assistance you can help me with is much appreciated. Thank you.

Tara

Disneyland Paris is a no smoking resort with designated smoking areas in the parks (I think!!) However, people don't follow the rules and the CM's rarely reinforce them. People tend to smoke while walking around and watching parades, not so much while waiting in line (but it can happen)
You won't find smoking in restaurants, bars or hotels - these are all non smoking.

also just to add to what micksn posted, all hotel rooms in Europe are non smoking as standard.
