Smoking ban in Paris?

Hi

Is there now an indoor smoking ban in France?

As a Brit I'm now familiar with places that are smoke-free indoors but I recall Disneyland Paris from a few years back as a place where people seem to smoke everywhere.

Has this changed? Is all indoor smoking banned?

Are there indoor / outdoor smoking areas?

No I don't think the ban has come in to place yet. Although I think the restaurants at Disney have enforced it early. Anyone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong.

Does this mean that some of the bars (eg hotel bars / nightclubs and bars at Disney Village) are still smoking?

When we were there last week, people smoked freely whilst walking around the park, but I do not recall there being any smoking in any of the restaurants.

the smoking ban for indoors went into effect on Feb 1, 2007, but bars and restaurants had until end of December to comply.

The non-Disney run restaurants at Disney Village did permit smoking but will of course fall under the new ban
