Smoking at Aulani

No flames please. Husband smokes and I am trying to get him interested in Alulani he is worried about the smoking areas. Do they have them near the pools? Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

There is one to the left outside the main entrance. It is not very close to the pool. There is always the option to walk out by the beach (much closer).

Starting in January 2014, smoking will be banned on all beaches in Hawaii, so that won't be an option.

I haven't seen anyone smoking in the cove area beach. I was suggesting the walkway, though it may also be included in the ban.
