Smoke from wildfires bothering anyone at resorts right now?

First let me say that I hope everyone is safe.

For anyone there now, the weather app is showing "Smoke" as current status for Orlando. Is the smoke disrupting anyone? Can you see it? At resorts or in the parks?

We have been here since Sunday. We are staying at AKL and went to Epcot yesterday and Animal Kingdom today. No signs of smoke.

I did see a notice in the room that due to the drought conditions, any resort campfires have been cancelled and grills are not allowed to be used.

There was a smaller wildfire earlier today, but I think it has been contained.

Thanks a lot. My mom is traveling with us and has asthma. I haven't mentioned it to her yet because I wanted to get a handle on the situation. Enjoy your trip!

We're still at AKL. IT's alittle smokey this morning. There were thunder storms last night. New fires may have started. It is a difficult thing to predict as new ones may start at any time.

We are entering our wet season and there should be rain just about every day. Hopefully the fires will end soon...it's been really bad this year.
