Let the manic trip report begin! Just me (20) and mum.

So, up at 4.50AM :upsidedow, plane left Liverpool on time at 7.05 am and got in 15 mins early  . We didn't check in any luggage so could step off the plane and straight through to arrivals. Ended up getting the 10.15 bus from the airport (earlier than we thought) and arrived at the hotel Newport Bay Club at 12. They let us check in and allocated our Admiral Floor room so we were able to put all our stuff away properly, a major advantage.

1pm, no queue to buy park tickets (worked out if they couldn't understand us we'd show two fingers and start hopping- 2day hopper :lmao: ). No such problems, all cast members very friendly and seemed to appreciate us greeting them in french. Into the main park, got tickets for the 3pm english lion king (timone came and sat next to me!!!), then went on star tours and had a quick stroll through the shops before watching the show. Then Small world followed by a quick run back to the hotel for some extra layers before watching the parade :cold:. Needed a hot chocolate stop to warm us up and then onto indiana jones and a very chilly big thunder mountain. Your right defiantely better than WDW. A cast member stole my woolley hat and started snuggling with it and wouldn't give it back. Another member came over and I said he looked scary- he gave me a huge a hug!!! Then gave the hat back. Then went over to watch Mickey's Winter Wonderland- absolutely magical, we both loved it. Think mum was quite taken with the face that 'real horses' were in it!

Left the park and went for tea at Planet Hollywood, food was great and very filling. Left there and strolled over to the ice rink via the lovely warm shops. Not many people on, but it just felt magical pixiedust: Then back to the hotel for a snuggle and lovely long sleep.

Next day- up at 8.30 for breakfast at 9am. Had a quick giggle at a very photo enthusiastic family. Breakfast was good, quite a variety and not crazy busy. Checked out at 10.30am and put bags in left luggage then off to Disneyland. Got Minnie's autograph, then did fantasyland- snow white, pinnocio- which had the longest wait of ... 5minutes, followed by fastpass for peter pan, then pirates (which broke down while we were on it for a few minutes) and back for pirates. Over to studios for the parade and managed to squeeze in armageddon before hand. Then rock n roller coaster, quick bite to eat, cinemagique (a lot better than we expected!) and then backlot ride. Hit the Disney Village shops and then had tea before collecting luggage saying goodbye to disneyland and leaving on the VEA to catch our flight which again arrived 15 mins early :cheer2: .

We definatley had luck on our side, the weather was clear altho very cold (the disney village lake froze), it was so quiet and easyjet were good to us.
:woohoo: I agree, very different to wdw, but can't do anything but praise the very friendly case members.

Hope all your future trips are as magical as this was.

Great report :) We were at aisle seats for Lion King and Timone said hiya, but not as lucky as you :goodvibes

By the way I'll add your trip to the index :)

Yep, we didn't mind that at all pirate: . Bit of drama I forgot to mention- as you leave disney village towards the parks with RER on right, there's a small roundabout on the left. When we were walking back the first day we saw a car tearing around the roundabout, the doors flew open and 4 people jumped out and ran into the wooded areas. Literally 1minute later a police car came after them and with the help of some security members tried to locate them. Quite a crowd gathered but when mum noticed the police were armed we moved on pretty quickly!

Came back half an hour later and both cars had gone, don't know how it ended or what they had done to be chased like that. If anyone finds out, please let me know!

By the way, sorry my trippie is soooo long :rolleyes1

Nothing wrong with the length of your report. We like them all short, medium, long :thumbsup2
