at least those were easier to carry home sorry you missed the blankets. Have you checked e-bay yet? or asked around to see if any one doesn't want theirs?

We ended up signing up for a credit card and we got a blanket that way. of course once the card comes we'll cut it up

Quick story if you are still here Gio. When the kids were little and we went to a Dodger game, it was blanket night then too. We lugged home four almost twin sized fleece blankets home that trip. It was insane I kept insisting, why don't we ship them home? But dh was determined to get the dang blankets to fit in our luggage.

I bought Aussie 3 minute miracle for my hair and its horrible! It felt like I was putting lard in my hair. I put it in as instructed, let it set as instructed, and rinsed, and rinsed, and rinsed trying to get the crap out. I finally shampoo-ed an additional 2x and the residue was still there and I could feel it on my forehead. Nasty nasty stuff.

Normally, when I dry my hair, it takes less than 5min b/c I don't do a lot to it. With the stuff on/in it, it took longer and made my hair look really greasy.

After we went out for dinner, I got on the DiS and knew some one would know some thing about getting this stuff out. Sure enough, serveral posters said use laundry detergent. So, at 11:30 at night, I took another shower and used laundry detergent and let my conditioner set for a while before rinsing. I didn't even blow dry my hair. It feels so much better now! I'm taking this 3min. mir. crap back asap.

I have hairs breaking on the top of my head and it looks like little spouts at the top (w/o hairspray holding them down). I don't know if its hormones, strees, or both causing it.

Do you have any suggestions for my breaking hair?

thanks for the warning, I can't believe that you had to end up using laundry detergent on your hair

I know, we have a little Christmas hanging blackboard that you write the number of days till Christmas and my DH wrote today that there are 123 days till Christmas (I didn't check the math but it sounds about right) so I think everyone must be out Christmas shopping
