I feel like getting to the point of no meat, except red once in a while. I am so tired of pork. I love a lot of roasted veggies in the oven. I may go that route...:goodvibes

I am so tired of pork also (except a good pork roast with veggies) and DH loves it so going veggie has stopped that, thank goodness. And he loves steak and I really don't. But every once in awhile a good juicy hamburger hits the spot. We both love seafood too. Now if only pasta wasn't such a no-no for dieters.

....didja ever try GF pasta? :confused3 And, NO MEAT with that....

Oh no kidding. I so love pasta. But I don't eat it very often. So it would be okay if you limit it. Never tried GF, what does it do for dieting? :goodvibes

....I think the key is:
1) small portions
2) the gravy/sauce should be healthy (or healthier)
3) don't mix carbs with meat (protein)

:goodvibes

I am looking for a good meal plan. I like some of the WW, Atkins, but I can't eat them everyday.:goodvibes

.....well, I've started with having a fruit'n'veggie smoothie every day! :thumbsup2

Gottcha! Thanks! I will have to look into that.

Friday night DH made a fantastic lasagna with tofu and pesto. It was delish!!!!

I don't like plain tofu but when cooked with other things it tastes like the food you are making. In the case of the lasagna it resembled ricotta cheese in looks and flavor to me.
