DL was awesome except for our diaper bag incident. We forgot it after watching one of the parades in CALIF adventure and when dh went to get it, security guards were surrounding it. He managed to get the diaper bag back, but they were awfully suspicious. :magnify: The pirate key is under a floor mat. Right when you walk into the building, there's a ticket booth to the right. Look under the mat and there should be a long skeleton key.

T, what are you cooking? :cutie:

No sushi rolling here....ordering :).
grilled sausages, made jasmine rice, and green beans. Can't mix the three in any combination together, the kids would gag. :yuck:...:rotfl2:

Doing okay today. Toothache :(.

:( Hope you feel better

Mt.Nittany- INTERESTING FACTS

HIDDEN MICKEY: See if you can spot the Hidden Mickey test pattern in the pre-show video, just after Scooter crosses the screen for the second time.

The show, which opened on May 16, 1991, is a joint effort by Jim Henson Productions, Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI), the design and engineering division of The Walt Disney Co.

While waiting in the pre-show area, see if you can spot some of the visual puns - the most famous is the net full of Jell-o cubes overhead (Get it? A net full of Jell-O? Annette Funicello?)

Also in the pre-show area you'll spy a sign that tells you the key has been left under the mat -- if you look down, you'll find the mat, and there really is a key under it!

To create the ideal setting for Muppet*Vision 3-D, Imagineers designed a theater that brings the show directly into the audience, causing some to call the experience 4D, or 4 Dimensional. Guests are squirted with water, blasted with air, and real soap bubbles float through the air throughout the show.

Muppet touches can be found throughout the architecture's ornamentation, including the Jules Verne-style projector contraption operated by the Swedish Chef.

How g-g-great! Check factoid out:

Celebrity Voices--Many celebrity voices—(1) Tim Curry as S.I.R. in Alien Encounter to Pee Wee Herman in Star Tours.(2) And, while he's not widely known for much more than being the voice of Tony the Tiger, check out the official Disney section of this Thurl Ravenscroft fan site to get in on all of the voices that you know and love on Disney attractions that Thurl provided like the drunken pirate, the singing dog, and one of the minstrels in Pirates; Fritz in the Tiki Birds; Buff the buffalo head in Country Bear Jamboree; and you can hear -- and SEE -- Thurl as busted bust singing Grim Grinning Ghosts in The Haunted Mansion. http://www.wdwinfo.com/best-kept-secrets_mk.htm

how cool :woohoo:

Nittany, here's a great one for you to try.... Characters—(1) If you see a human character, like Mary Poppins, ask them a question about their movie and they go right into character. I had Mary doing supercalifragilistic backwards! Kiss all the female "non-human hands" and watch their reaction. http://www.wdwinfo.com/best-kept-secrets_mk.htm :rotfl2: would you accept that mission?!:cool2:

I read about that in a book once, LB. How cool to be a voice actor!

Wow, what little known, wonderful touches at Disney :)

And, I understand that the Security Guards were suspicious. Glad it was great! ;)

how long will you be at WDW this time Nittany?:wizard: I'm trying to figure out a way to shorten your name. Is Nittany working for you so far? :confused3

One fun fact about DL is they did not change the Tiki room to WDW's format. I wish I knew that earlier so we could squeeze in seeing the classic version. :teacher:
