Just incase there is any confusion. Last night we were talking about free dining in Sept. It is the same dining plan as the basic dining plan all year round. You get a snack, counter service and a table service per night per person while at a Disney resort hotel with 1 day base ticket for each person. To be able to get free dining one has to stay on property at least 3 nights and by at least 1 day base ticket for everyone in their party 3 and up.

It will be DH, me, DS and DD. So we will get 18 snacks, 18 counter services, and 18 table services because we are staying 6 nights. DD will only be 22 months at the time so she will get in free and eat off my plate.

Why do they call it free? I know it's really not but do they charge less

I don't know about the US but these dates for our summer break for us is normal I know some schools in the US get out in May and then go back to school in Aug.
