Smells!

Dose anyone else ever smell something and it carries there mind to WDW? I was walking past a telephone pole and smelled the creosote and my thoughts went straight to sitting at a bus stop at the Fort!

Every time I smell a wood burning fire it brings my mind back to walking inside The Wilderness Lodge.

When I smell goodies baking in the oven, it brings me to walking by The Main Street Bakery.

Oh man,,don't get me started on Disney smells
even in our home there are certain times of the morning in certain parts of our home that takes me back. (and no Dave, I don't mean OoooHaaNaaaa)

Lately it's sounds that are the big triggers for us. Every time DH or I heard a Mannheim Steamroller Christmas tune on the radio in the last few weeks we'd say "can you see them??" and we close our eyes.

"them" being the Osborne lights


And yeah... pretty dangerous in the car.

I was just thinking the same thing. Every time I hear an old Bing Crosby song that says marshmallow clouds and snow balls, rolling along (sorry, no idea what it's called) I immediately think of the line at Sorin' where they have these big electronic boards and sometimes they have snow balls you can move around. Ahhhhhh, memories.

For me its tastes. The Ren faire here has turkey legs & I have to buy one just to get the taste of Disney. I collect recipes from our meals at WDW. So, I can have my favorites whenever I am missing the magic. If anyone else wants recipes, check out the food section on here. Also, the smell of cinnamon reminds me of Moracco.

There are quite a few for us I guess, most of the time they kind of catch us off guard. A while back we were taking a walk in a local park that has a pretty large fountain. You could faintly smell the water, I don't know what's in fountain water, and at exactly the same time my DH, oldest DS and I all said...
"Ahhh, Disney World. It was so funny!
