I have the opportunity to get a new smart/fitness watch. I have a budget up to $125.00 via Amazon.
I used to have a watch that lasted 2-3 years, it was simple, but as technology gets better (or worse), there's more function and bells and whistles as they say.
I have spent 7 hours on Amazon in total, can't decide on anything.

I know i want something with a long battery.
a screen at least 1.4 or bigger (my last watch was 1.4).

Can anyone suggest a smartwatch within my budget of $0-$125.00?
Thanks.

I would add some $$$ and get an Apple Watch if you have an iPhone. Ours have lasted much longer than 2 years and the batteries last all day. Instead of replacing every couple years, just get one that will last.

Agree with @cvjw, add about $40 to your budget and you can get an Apple SE on Amazon. It's not the newest of watches, but it still updates to most of the newer features and will last. I still have my first version of my Apple watch and it works just fine (though I have upgraded to a newer version). You can find refurbished ones for around $140, so only about $15 more.

I agree... adding a some $$$ and getting an Apple product. I would look into the SE2. You will be much happier w/an AppleWatch. There are SO many accessories available, easy to use, very customizable (I love having one of the cats as my background), if you have an iPhone everything is beyond smooth when it comes to syncing. Once a day charging works just fine.

I had like a Gen1 Apple Watch and it was still fully functional mechanically, but It was obsolete. I was missing out on features the newer versions of WatchOS offered (mainly sleep tracking). I ended up replacing it with some kind of FitBIt (not sure what model, it was one that looked a lot like AppleWatch) It was marked down from like $200 something to like $79. I saw that on a deal site. I was just not happy with it. To the FitBit's credit, the battery life was absolutely incredible. However the interface was absolutely DREADFUL. Syncing was challenging. Accessories were just not impressive. Trying to customize background and all was quite challenging, and a lot of stuff like faces etc. they wanted extra $$$ to access.

I ended up getting rid of the FitBit in a few months and just getting a newer version of AppleWatch and I have been MUCH happier with it.

Long battery life (a day is NOT "long" IMO) is key to me. I have a Vivoactive 3, and the battery lasts ~5 days for me. Now, I might not use at as much as others, I get notifications, use it as a step counter, timer (kid's soccer games), and occasional activity tracker.

I've had it at least a couple of years now. It's my second smart watch. I wasn't crazy about the first (Samsung Galaxy). The battery on that REALLY didn't last long.

There are a few issues with the Vivo I'm not crazy about, but it's still solid, AND just slightly over your price range on Amazon ($130).

I love my Fitbit Sense, but acknowledge there is more that can be done with an Apple Watch, Google Pixel Watch or Samsung Galaxy Watch. I wanted multi day battery, swim tracking, step counting and notifications. My Sense does all of these things for less than half the price. I get 4-5 days out of my Sense and will probably buy another one when this one dies. I think I've had it three years now.

I have an android phone (Moto g stylus 5g 2021) I just received my latest watch by puqo...it's defective because the charger said 100% charged, but when i turned on the watch it read 50%. :(. I went through so many watches, inaccurate or the band sucked. Apparently i got into a mess with Amazon about my returns. One came scratched and they blamed me. :(.

I'm aggravated about it. Sometimes I feel like i should send the money back, but don't want to offend my friend. I don't think i'm meant to have a watch.

Stop buying no name junk watches on Amazon. Look into the features and choose one that meets your needs, not just on which is the cheapest.

I had really good luck with a Garmin, but it's not going to have the same functionality and will my sync as smoothly as an Apple watch. I will say that I had bad luck with the cheaper Apple watches. I kept catching the watch face on things and cracking the screen or pulling the watch off of the body. Garmin is better as it is a flush face like the higher end Apple watches and I didn't catch it on anything.

I have an android phone and have had a Fitbit (many different versions) for a very long time. Have heard about people having issues but for me it's been pretty reliable. Currently have had a Fitbit Versa 3 for about 2 years (maybe 3). Screen size is approximately 1.5" and it has a lot of functions. I think they all have issues from time to time but a resolution usually rolls out to fix.

I'm not in the market for a watch, I use Fitbit Charge 5. If you use a watch for sleep monitoring at night (I do) and then wear the watch in the day, when do you charge it if it only lasts a day? My Fitbit battery lasts 7-8 days. Takes about 2 hours to recharge.

I want something that is accurate for steps
