Should I stay with Small World Vacations or AAA?

I have a room only trip booked (paid 1st night) with Small World Vacations for November. Just found out I could save $200 on resort with AAA membership so I joined. So now I have a reservation on hold with AAA as well. Have not paid yet.

Yes I could get in contact with Small World and tell her I am eligible for AAA discount and see if she can get it (she probably can). I basically am using them to see if I can get an AP rate later on. However, I am questioning Small World Vacations. I have read some good and bad comments about them here. I booked with her last Saturday and have no confirmation in my hand as of yet. She is in my state. I am wondering how hard they work at getting a discount rate for their customers. I wish she would have told me about the AAA rate. It seems I have to ask her about everything she really is not volunteering info. I guess I can't expect her to work too hard for a room only ($1700 total stay).

When I initially called CRO they told me garden view room was not available only higher end rooms. That is another reason why I went with Small World. Of course this could all be for naught as there may end up being no AP rate or Disney Visa special come November?

Any thoughts? Help?

I think that is a call you have to make from the gut. Go with whatever you feel most comfortable with.

As far as the confirmation getting there in a week-Disney mails the confirmations to the agency, and they in turn mail it to you. When I used to do my own bookings, the confirmations would take about 10 days to get to me direct from Disney. I would bet your agent doesn't even have the confirmation yet. I would not use that to judge on

Yes any travel agent can add on the AAA discount to your room, there is information on AAA discounts right on their form that you fill out.

I would opt for Small World because most AAA agents won't keep an eye out for discounts, you will have to do that and then tell them to apply it to your reservation.
