Small World Toy Shop!

**PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST. A few people have been doing the TL; DR thing and misunderstanding me. I'm NOT looking for the Small World Boat bath toy. I'm wondering if they possibly carry a nesting doll set.**

In 2007, I came across this sweet little shop at the end of the Small World ride. I bought a friend a Small World-themed bath toy for her soon-to-be-born son as a special baby shower gift. (Now I wish I'd saved it for my own children; little did I know I'd be expecting my own within months of that time! But I digress…)

Anyway, I have full plans of returning to the shop as Small World is my favorite ride (has been since I was little) and I want a special something to commemorate the 50th anniversary as well as our family's first trip ever (and likely last) to DLR together.

I know most of the fun is FINDING something while spending the day there, but does anyone happen to know if Disney manufactures a matryoshka (nesting doll) set of Small World dolls? I collect matryoshka and would love another set of them, especially a Small World set! If not that's okay…but maybe they SHOULD make them.

I've never seen one, but like the PPs, I think it would be a fantastic idea!(By the way…was the bath toy the boat with the little Small World children in it?)

I've got some info that may help.........It's a small world boat with small world characters in it. Since the upgrade (adding the Disney characters in the ride) a new boat with "new characters" were included. We have two of them but they were purchased a couple years ago. The boats were only sold at the Small World Store. Not sure if they still exist but it's worth a phone call to see.

The phone number used to be called Delivery Ears but I think it maybe called something else now. I'm sure someone could chime in.

About a month ago with the intent of buying something for my young niece that was specifically themed to the ride , there is was very little in there I did see a child's story book...very disappointing .

thanks, I was actually wondering if they sold nesting dolls in a small world theme - I've seen the boats pop up on eBay, but I'm not looking for it.

so sad to hear that the store is not as full of goodies as it once was! Maybe with the anniversary it will be replenished with special items?

the store currently is closed since the attraction is closed as well for the refurb and preps for the 50th anniversary celebration. however once it has it's Good Morning America and 50th celebration, it will go down again for further refurbing through end of May/early June. it's worth a shot still to call and see if they will have stuff, but it's not clear if they will have anything that specific.

They're selling singing IASW dolls and animal plushies at the Disney Store in the mall right now. The plushies were $20, but they're $16 each if you buy 2 online.

Yes! That was what I bought. It was the cutest thing. I'm considering buying one for my kids anyway; they still love to play in the tub!

I'm actually not looking for the boat; you can buy it online. I'm hoping they will have some new things, most specifically a nesting doll set because I collect those.

Unfortunately I don't recall seeing anything like that last month, but that doesn't mean they don't have it. You might also check out the collectible shops (like the one on Main Street) and not just the toy store at the end of the ride. Nesting Dolls, unless they're toys, seem more like something that would be in the art shops.
