she is recovering from the stroke and in amazing spirits for a lady of 87 years! Her speech is almost fully recovered. Enough so that the speech therapist has put her back on regular foods. She is now in a separate Physical Therapy Wing of our hospital. She works for 3 hours a day walking, writing etc. Today was her first day and she became rather exausted quickly which I'm sure was expected. They are saying she will probably be in this unit for about 2 weeks.
The doctors just did another C-Scan so maybe we can see something. Right now they still say another stroke "could" happen at any time but they are hoping not. She is on Aspirin, Cuminin (Sp?) and Plavax which is very hard because you can touch her and she turns blue and bleeds because of all of the blood thinners.
Anyway continued prayers for her (her name is Lucille Bingham) would surely be appreciated. In all of her 87 years she hasn't been on any medication or had any sickness until January of this year. Shes an amazing lady!
