Hi All,

In a small -low key way, can I announce that its:

S D D

time for me!.

Kids don't know that we are going back, hence the need for a small - low key - SDD!.

Will arrive onsite from Monday 15th until Friday 19th.

:dance3: :woohoo: :dance3: :woohoo: :dance3:

We'll be there at the same time as you. Where are you staying? We'll be in SL so maybe see you there :cool1:

Have a great time.:ssst:

Thanks All.

We are also staying at Seq. Lodge.

We've been visiting the last couple of years - normally November or December. The very first time it was a surprise to the kids - they didn't know anything about it until we were at the Eurostar terminal at Ashford.

Since then the've been involved in the 'planning' etc. This year we've told them - almost since last Christmas that we wouldn't be going this year due to us having had a new kitchen (I like to put the emphasis in the statement to the kids that MUMMY had a new kitchen.....).

However, this year the kids no nothing about it - and given they don't know anything about it, they don't know that my parents are also coming. I expect the penny will drop that we are going when we arrive at Bristol Airport early Monday morning. On Sunday we will visit family in Wales, and plan to stop at the Brewers Fayre near to Bristol Airport for Tea. After this I will announce that I don't feel well, and we will have to stay the night (in our already booked room!) as I really can't face driving home.

That gives us the (weak) excuse to stay overnight in the Bristol Area, and we will then leave the Hotel early on Monday morning in order to return 'home' in order for the kids to get to school - in reality to nip down the road to Bristol Airport. So, as I say I think the penny will drop when we get to Bristol Airport.

The next part is to see how far we can go before the kids realise that my parents are also coming. They are booked on the same plane as us, so the kids will probably spot them in the departure lounge - although the 'dream' would be to get them on the plane without spotting!.

Regards

Iain
