.......so small in the scheme of things, but dh just went off on me for using a "good" washcloth for a kitchen dishrag. The thing is, he buys sponges, but then he and ds do not wring out the sponge and it gets so gross, so I throw them out when that happens. Every time I try to buy dishrags instead, he says he doesn't like dishrags in the kitchen. They look messy. So he decides to compromise by buying scratch pads. Firstly, they don't clean, they scratch and secondly, they are ruining my nonstick pans. So I went to get one of the washcloths for a dishrag. Now, we haven't had new washcloths in at least two years and dh doesn't use wash cloths AT ALL, so I really never thought about it. DS used it later on to clean up a koolaid spill and so dh says our "best" washcloth is now ruined. Like I said, he doesn't use wash cloths, and guests use our sons' upstairs bathroom with a totally different color scheme, so they'll never see it either. But, I told him if he is that worried about it, I will use Shout and get all the koolaid out of it. He says it's stained, it won't come out. I told him if everything that gets koolaid on it was ruined the kids would have no clothes left, and Shout will get it out.
What a stupid thing to fight about!
