small glass bottle

I am wondering if anyone has any experience bringing a small glass bottle into the parks? This is a bottle that holds about 2 oz and has a dropper. It is kind of like a bottle used for CBD oil, but it's a hormone (not prescription). Will I have any problems if I have this in my book bag?

You might get someone following that rule to the max, or you might get someone who lets it slide. If it's critical to bring it, transfer it to a different container just to be sure.

Apparently the system doesn’t want you bringing in perfume. Probably track what we wear on our MB.

You do not have to empty you pockets at the scanner, just remove all metal objects. I always walk through with stuff in my pockets.

lid of glass bottle is usually metal. I know small amount of metal will set off as small screw in my hand sets it off and I cant take it out

oh, I assumed that since it had a dropper, it had a plastic lid with the integrated dropper. But still, WDW metal detectors are usually not set that sensitive. I usually have my 3 foot phone charging cord and it does not set it off.

I have carried oil bottles into the parks may times. I always have a bottle of headache oil in my bag and sometimes others depending on the day and need. I have never been questioned.

My guess would be that the restriction is to prevent people from bringing small bottles of liquor into the park, especially prior to alcohol sales at MK. If the bottle appears to be a medication, would it really be a problem? I assume people bring glass vials of insulin and other injectibles into the park without any problem. Perhaps a call to Disney is in order, to ask how to transport your medication into the park.

My brother is diabetic and has never had problems brining his insulin supplies into any of the parks. He usually takes them in a cooler bag but it's so hot we usually take them to the first aid center and they keep it refrigerated for him. No one has ever questioned it at all.

I have an interesting example. We were at Epcot this past August and we happened to be staying at POP Century. We had dinner that evening at Cape Mays in at the Beach Club and I bought some bags of chips and a jar of salsa at the general story in the Beach Club. (POP doesn't have full size bags of chips and I need my late night munchies ) I was planning to take it back to the resort to enjoy that evening. So I get to the security check at the International Gateway (or whatever that entrance to Epcot is called) and they looked through our bags and pulled out the jar of salsa and said "Hmm, this is going to be a problem". I didn't understand and then they told me about the no glass. I understood, no problem. I was totally unaware of the rule. I asked about the beer steins that you can purchase in the Germany pavilion and they said they were plastic. Interesting. Anyway, after about 10 minutes of them head scratching, they had someone take the jar all of the way up to guest services at the main entrance to Epcot. We grabbed it there on the way out later that night. Lots of work for that one jar of salsa, but it was worth it.
