A few months ago I read a thread where each night at the hotel, Mom put out a small bag of "gifts" from Tinkerbelle for her young daughters to find the next morning. I would love to do that for my 4-year old niece this September!

I found some great Princess plastic gift bags at the local party store (about 10 inches by 6 inches). Now I am looking for suggestions of small gifts to put inside the bags each day. So far I have come up with candy and lip gloss, but now I am at a loss.

Any suggestions?

THANKS

Donna

Hi

I'm one of the Mom's who does the Tinkerbelle gifts.

Here are some suggestions that my kids liked:

1) Party stores - birthday section Princess bubbles, Princess bracelets
2) Dollar store (or Walmarts) - glow in the dark necklaces, bracelets, princess crayons, princess notebooks, princess markers, etc.
3) Disney store - Princess theme candies, small battery powered fans, princess watches, light spinners, t-shirts, jammies, lollipops
4) Target (and other like stores) - Princess lipglosses, bubble baths, lotions

Have fun shopping!

Great ideas! Thanks, DisneyMomx7. She is an adorable little girl and this will be so much fun...for me!

Autograph book (one that "the fairies" made)
princess sunglasses
princess camera
Cinderella pen
pink chapstick
a "pearl" necklace

We did this also. I didnt think to get cute bags, I had a hard enough time hiding the stuff in a suitcase! It was before Christmas so the stuff was easier to find. Tinkerbell left DD the following during a 7 day trip:

Cinderella (polly pocket type) with clothes and the mice in a little case from Meijers
Aurora with little rubber clothes from Meijer
Cinderella key chain that plays music
Girly princess makeup, sparkle powder and some lipgloss
Princess Pjs that were long sleeve and pants
Ariel pjs that were shorts and short sleeves
Some candies like unicorn pops
Princess pencils and a light up cinderella ink pen
Princess coloring book
Several cheap Walt disney t shirts I had gotten from Disney Deals

Have fun! I have created a monster, she was wondering this morning what tinkerbell is going to leave her this year!

Much thanks jet princess and beerbudlady for the ideas!

Did you put the gifts anywhere special in the hotel room? Did you tell your DDs that Tinkerbelle left them? Any ideas to make this as Magical as possible?

I forgot - I also get a lot of cute Princess things at Claire's.

I buy Disney gift bags at the $ store. I leave them at the foot of their beds. Its a good incentive for the kids to get up when they want to see what Tinkerbelle left the night before!

I am planning to do this for my 2 sons on our trip next month. Any good ideas for little boys?

Thanks.

Yes, I also do a "tinkerbelle bag" for ds (5). It's a little bit harder but he still loves it. Disney store is a big help - light spinners, battery light up fans, crayons, t-shirts, cups, pjs, candy and trinkets. ALso have put in markers, disney cookies, mickey mouse notebooks etc. Always good is the $ store glow in the dark light sticks. Have fun!

I bought both DD's (one is 7 and one's 3) light up Princess necklaces form the Disney storem PJ's, glow necklaces for Spectro and fireworks, glitter, lip gloss, stickers, temporary tattoos (DD 7), t shirts etc for Easter. I gave those in advance. The night before we leave (at 4 am) I have a little travel bag for them. Each has a small tote bag/purse (Ariel for DD7 and Pricesses for DD 3) a Princess notebook, set of pencils, crayons, stickers, a Disney songs tape, a small travel radio, watch, etc things thay can use on the drive down and as entertinment in the room.

Last trip for oldest DD, I gave her a gift bag associated with that days activities with a copy if the itenerary, stickers, a map of the park, figureines of the character we would see that day, abook etc. So, AK day, animal stickers, map, a book about animals. She really enjoyed it and she really didn't beg for alot of souveniers, because she got stuff every day. Actually, too much. Mom went alot overboard.

For a little boy, I would think maybe a DIsney notebook of Mickey, Donald, Peter Pan, Toy Story or some boy tupe character, pencils, a pair of sunglasses, some tshirts, light up spinning thing from the Disney Store, glow sticks, a mini flashlight for dark rides, a bandanna, pirate eye patch, Peter Pan sword, some maps of the parks (both my kids love those) stickers, and other boy stuff. Doesn't necessarily have to be Disney. After all, a presentis a present either way you look at it! :goodvibes

Does this help curb the "I wants" in the parks? I am picking up a few things for DD, but she isn't old enough yet...............I don't think!

If you can stand hearing "thud ... thud ... thud ... thud ..." OVER and OVER and OVER again, I just returned from Wal-Mart where I saw Disney-themed paddleballs for $1.50 each in the toy department. They also had golf-ball sized rubber "superballs" in various Disney characters (you know - those rubber balls that bounce all over the place and drove your poor mama loopy), but I didn't see a price. I would also check out a party-supply store or section of store. There are lots of little inexpensive do-dads for birthday party goody bags.
