Hello, I was wondering, is Barnstormer a must do FP+ in MK? We will pass on the bigger rides (I know we can do rider swap) but we want to pretty much try and ride as a family -there's always another year (hopefully) for the bigger rides.

Thanks for any help or advice x

If it's important to you, FP it. When we went in May, the line would go from 5 minutes to 30 minutes and back again quite quickly, and 30 minutes is a long time to wait for a very short ride.

We just returned from a trip with the two DGSs (4 and almost 2) and opted to by-pass Barnstormer. We've ridden it before and felt it was too jerky and almost made you feel that you could fall out of the side. As someone mentioned it's also very short. We feel that there are plenty of other better options for our young ones.

Don't use FP+ for Barnstormer. You should save your FP+ for attractions that you can't get FP-.

I have a DD5 and DS3 they both love Barnstormer. We will be arriving on 11/29. I have not set up and FP+ for Barnstormer even though we will ride it 10+ times on the trip.

Set up a FP+ for Tomorrowland Speedway (or something like that) for which you cannot get FP-and always has a long line. On your way to the Speedway grab a FP- for Winnie the Pooh. As you approach the Speedway have your runner go get FP- for Barnstormer and Dumbo.

Barnstormer and Dumbo are not connected to the main FP- system, so you can have FP- for both and grab another FP- at the same time. This is another reason not to FP+ Barnstormer.

At this point you will be holding FP- for Pooh, Barnstormer and Dumbo. Now ride Speedway.

When you are done with the Speedway make your way over to Barnstormer for your FP-. Then ride Dumbo with your FP-. Then ride Pooh with your FP-.

That's the ideal way to do that loop.

Assuming that you can use both FP+ and FP- simultaneously, which apparently will not be the case in the near future.

Wow! You sound like a proper pro!! I've never been so all this info is great. Thank you!

If you are staying onsite you will be able to use both FP+ and FP- until the testing is over in the Spring of 2014. Check out Kenny the Pirate's page if you have heard otherwise.
