Don't get me wrong,I'm thankful I'm still alive and have a leg to walk on.
But in a sense,I don't have my leg.
I don't have the bones or ligaments I was born with.
It's all metal now.
And because of that,I may never be able to play sports again.
Plus,I'm confined to the height of 5'3 forever.
I love sports more than anything.
I don't like to face the fact I may never be able to play field hockey or soccer again.
But then I look to the bright side.
Keyword : MAY never be able, not WILL never be able.
I still have my life, and at least part of my real leg.
And hey, due to infections, I'll never have my adenoids either.
Doesn't bother me so much, so why do I let my leg bother me so much?
Life's tough.
Especially when your forced to face life or death at such a young age.
BTW,I'm home from the hospital!
