I need to buy several gift cards in small denominations, like $5 each. Other than Starbucks, any ideas of places that a small amount like this would work?

Thanks!

I always give $5 at Target to bus driver, garbage/recycle man/etc....not a personal fan of coffee, donuts, etc, so I tend not to give any of those.

Anywhere..... Mc Donalds, subway, sonic, target, walmart, movie theater. Most stores can make a gift card for any amount you want.

Our school band was selling movie passes. I think one pass might have been around $5.

Does Redbox have gift cards? That would be 4 movie rentals!

Doubtful - they need a debit/credit card to charge if it's kept more than 1 day - maybe you can swipe the GC + a D/CC and if it's kept longer than a day they charge the non GC for the additional days.

ETA ~ hmmm they offer promo code GCs *yes you swipe your C/DC.

Here's the info

Has anyone given the Redbox cards? I think that would be a cute gift packaged with some popcorn and candy boxes.

They're not cards, they're codes - they are emailed to you or whoever you choose to email them to. You can print the codes and give them out that way.

Not sure about other grocery chains, but I know that Kroger sells a ton of gift cards and they give 4X fuel points when you purchase gift cards through them.

They have iTunes and other places that would be good for small amounts too in addition to the Penney's, movie theaters, restaurants, etc. etc.

My boss will use her Disney Visa to purchase gift cards at Kroger. So she gets the points for Disney on her Visa and then gets the fuel points to get cheaper gas at the Kroger gas stations. She was going to buy a new lawn mower, so purchased a $400 Home Depot gift card using her Disney Visa from Kroger. Got $1 off gas several times plus got tons of points to use towards her Disney trip.
