Hello Everyone,

I am looking for a lumbar pack that will be comfortable for around the park with possibly a shoulder strap or two to change up how I can carry it.

I currently have a Tamrac Velocity 9, but it might be too big and cumbersome.

I have a Canon Rebel with hand grip (can be removed if I have to to fit it in) and a 28-75 2.8 attached. I would also be carrying extra batteries, flash, etc.
I am considering buying a tamron 1.4 TC and/or a 70-200 2.8

Any recommendations for this type of bag? Will also need space for sunglasses, cell phone, water bottle, etc. Any recommendations for this and/or equipment to not bother with. In other words, will the 28-105 be enough by itself, with the TC or should I get all that I would like.

Sometimes, the DSLR is just too cumbersome to lug around and we end up just using my wife's P&S (Canon SX200IS)

On the same note, the new 70-200 and TC are alot of money. Any recommendations on a new/used P&S that might be a good substitute that I could use and then re-sell when we get home. I looked at the Panasonic Lumix line (FZ18 I think) that can be had for about $250 used.

Alot of questions I know, but I don't want to take the DSLR and be bogged down, but don't want to be there wishing I had brought it.

Tom
