Slow yahoo searches

Had some problems with my computer last week....got those fixed.

Now when I search using google or Yahoo, it is really slow and sometimes doesn't work at all.

Could there be another "search" program added on when I search and could that be causing it to run slow.

I did run spy-bot and it found a few things and it said I had no immediate threats.

Try Ad-Aware, as well.

You might be surprised at the number of items it finds. Also, boot up into Safe Mode, run a thorough scandisk and then a defrag. That should help.

I ran ad ware and it did not seem to help.

I will tell my Dh about your other suggestions.

your post reminded me that I had not checked Yahoo mail for a couple of days. When I tried to get to it, it took forever. So maybe it is a Yahoo problem?

I think it's yahoo problem to. I have not been receive mail from any of my yahoogroups at all.
