Do eat fast food chicken?

If so, do you prefer KFC or Popeyes?

I never eat Popeyes :sad2: it's to spicey for me

I do eat KFC ::yes::

Poll coming!!!!

I voted other because I like my own fried chicken. Less coating, less grease and just plain taste better.

Hey Sandy!

I don't like that kind of friend chicken, so I'm going to have to say other. I don't hate them though, I'll eat them if I have to.:)

I voted for Popeyes because the very first store was opened in my home town many moons ago.

KFC here, never been to a Popeyes, never even heard of one until a couple of years ago.

Popeyes is WONDERFUL but I try not to eat it often. I love their red beans & rice as a side dish too.

KFC is way too greasy for me and it tears up my stomach. They do have good biscuits though.

I like KFC over Popeye's but lately I can't eat KFC anymore. Their chicken grosses me out now. However, I do like the mashed potatoes and gravy.

As a New Orleanian, I would have to say.... POPEYES!!!!!
Love the spicy chicken, mashed potatoes with gravy and they have the best biscuits!

I don't eat much meat but I do like KFC's mashed potatoes! We get both because Popeye's usually has coupons in the paper.

Had to go with other, but not because we don't eat at Pop's or KFC, we just like Famous Recipe better.

KFC - the original is very greasy. Extra crispy is usually ordered.
Pop's - love both the original and spicy, the only problem is it's very expensive. Our family of 4 can spend as much there as we do at O'Charlies or Friday's.
Famous - eat both their original and crispy plus chicken.

KFC is close, but I really prefer Famous Recipe and Churchs. I like Popeyes but there aren't any around here anymore.

out of the two I prefer popeyes but I love KFC's cole slaw. As churches is pretty good if you like greasy chicken.

KFC....if I go out for chicken.
No Popeye's here....at least not yet, I see one is opening about 35 miles from me.

Popeyes, the spicier the better! However, that said, the greasy food does not like me. It's now a once in a while treat.

I like both, but have recently stopped eating KFC since a report came out saying that they use bad fat that contains more grams than any other fast food chain.

I used to love Popeye's as a kid, and was so excited when I moved to KS from FL because they didn't have Popeye's near me in FL. Went to one here.... yuck! I don't know if they changed it or if I just had bad taste back then, but I didn't really like it at all. It seemed like the spicy stuff was just injected under the skin rather than cooked into the crunchy part like I remembered it. And I like the sides at KFC better. But Popeye's does have yummy biscuits. And I agree that Popeye's is too expensive. They are also stingy with the condiments - charged me $0.25 a pop for tiny little honey mustard or BBQ, and for butter & honey for my bicsuit. I had to ask for a knife & fork to cut chicken for my toddler, and they charged me for that too. Extra cup for water - yep, charged for that too. No more Popeyes for me.

I know exactly what you mean about having the spicy stuff just under the skin. When I had Popeye's from a counter at the Sawgrass mall and from the counter at a turnpike reststop that is how it was. But when I go to an actual store (or better yet when I go home and go to a store in New Orleans) it is fantastic and just like it has always been. I refer to the Popeye's at the counter in the mall as not being "real." I've never heard of charging for condiments or for a knife and fork!!!!!! They certainly don't do that in Florida or Louisiana.

I've never been to popeyes so I guess KFC but I'm really not that big of a fan! I like boston market better!
