Do you own a dishwasher??



I own a dishwasher, and I love it!!!
I can't imagine life without it

Yes, we have one. Most of the time it works well as long as you wash the dishes before you put them in. It's just the two of us and I'd rather just wash the dishes up as we use them.

Our kitchen is way too small to have a diahwasher. I want one so bad though. The good news is that in a few years our house will be paid off and we will remodel. THEN...I will have one.

yes, I have one but I don't use it. We usually eat off of paper plates so I'll have less to clean.

I do - but I still hand wash the bulk of my dishes: dishwasher "pits" the stainless silverware....I am worried about dishes chipping (not that klutzy me is much better)...so I only run it maybe twice a week. I'm a SAHM - if I were to work and be busier...that caution would probably go out the door!!!

I have one but I never use it. I grew up without one so I am used to doing dishes.

I voted for my wife being the dishwasher, but she is currently working on replacing herself with the children. So right now it's about half and half. Half of the time my wife does the dishes, and half of the time my kids do.
I will help with all the chores around the house, but two - dishes and vacuuming. Even though as a kid I did more than my share of washing dishes, I always hated it. Thankfully, though, my wife doesn't mind doing them, she says it's sort of relaxing.

I have 1 but it is not working right so for now I am the dishwasher BIL is supposed to come over and replace the pump so hopefully within 1-2 weeks it will be running again. I HATE not having it.

We rent an apartment. It came with a dishwasher, but we do not own it. If we did own it I think I would replace it. It cleans ok, but leaves little food particles stuck on things. EWWW.

yup, it's the crap one that came with our house, though...sometimes I wonder...lol Whirlpool even said that if it breaks, don't bother fixing it, buy a new one! I can't live without it, though, even though I do a lot of dishes by hand (pots, etc.). Every time I go to my MIL's house, she does not use hers so I have to wash dishes by hand...makes me appreciate mine!

We have one. Around here, EVERYBODY does--it would be very odd not to have one; some people even have two. I suppose, if you count DH who I make wash all the hand-wash only (he's better at it than I am), I have two.

Yes - and we don't use it.. Takes me less time to do the dishes than it does for the dishwasher to do them..
