What is your opinion of Jello?




I personally love love love Jello!!!!

I make the sugar-free type once a week, and serve it with fat free Cool Whip. I love the taste, and I love the fact that it has no calories and no carbs I sometimes throw some fresh fruit into it too

I ate jello when I was young and toothless and will probably eat it again if/when I am old and toothless, however I personally cannot stand the texture of the stuff and haven't touched it in ages.

I voted for it just being edible. The funny thing (not ha ha) is that I am starting my diet (again), and one of the few desserts I can eat is sugar free Jello - lucky me!!!

i hate jello due to those disgusting "skins" on the bottom that taste like fake fruity plastic wrap and get stuck in your mouth and make you gag and choke.. so i guess i am a jello phobic

but

i love a jello concoction my mother makes with apricot baby foodconfused , peach jello, cool whip ,nuts and pineapple all mixed up. umumum the only jello i actually look forward to eating

therefore i voted "other"

I hate food with food dye & try to avoid them . I wish Jello could come out with a clear jello with flavor like Gatorade had. That being said does not mean I never eat food coloring...just avoid it.

I like jello with Ready Whip.

My grandmother used to make jello with ice cream mixed together that I loved.

I love jello! Something about it reminds me of childhood -- a comfort food. I like to mix a package of cherry and rasberry together. In fact, there is some in the fridge I made yesterday! I wish I had those molds my mother used to use - they were copper I think and when you turned the jello out of them the top would be shaped like the mold -- I remember a fruit design, a heart and a wreath she had. They weren't as big a a cake pan. Anyone remember these?

I'm from the midwest where a jello salad is part of every big family gathering! I love jello, but not all the jello salads. I really love jello poke cake!

Jello is okay and I would only eat it if I had to. It's like eating a spoonful of flavored water. I'd rather have chocolate pudding instead.

My kids (and all their friends) LOVE Finger Jello.
It isn't mushy, it can be cut in long snakes, or squares.
I take it to class parties/potlucks/picnics everytime, and it is always the first thing gone!!
Also great for sick kids.

1 pkg jello
1 pkg knox gelatin
1 cup boiling water

Mix all together. Spray 8x8 pan with Pam. Pour jello mix into it. Put in fridge. Will be set within 45 minutes. Cut up!

I love Jello, or jelly as we call it over this side of the pond. I love strawberry or raspberry jelly with some fresh fruit in it with a little icecream to go with it.
