slo's Friday poll - ceiling fans

We don't have any because I complained to my husband that they were an eyesore and when we remodeled our house had them replaced with overhead lighting. BIG MISTAKE. We get zero airflow though the house. WHen we put the second floor on, there will be ceiling fans in every room, I don't care what they look like.

Really? I have 2 REALLY pretty ones that I love.

When we moved in the fans that were hung were done so v ery poorly and just $20 cheapies that looked icky. I know that there are several much more aestitically (sp?) pleasing options.

One each in 3 of our lived in bedrooms and one in the family room = 4.

Currently we have 7, plus one on the back patio. But when the addition to the house is complete we'll have an additional 2. Can't live without ceiling fans in Texas!
