Do you have a time that you settle down at night to watch TV? Or is every night different?
If you have a normal average time….what is that time?
(multiple choice)

For Me…..It’s not the same every day, but I do have a schedule.
Monday - Thursday it’s always around 8:30pm
Friday it’s about 7:00pm (Friday Night Live with ResortTV1)
Saturday it’s about 7:30pm
Sunday it’s about 6:00pm

Well the tube goes on when I get home. I live alone so it is partly for companionship. I generally watch news until 6 and then move over to entertainment. I like detective shows and things like Mysteries at the Museum. History, Travel and Discovery are some of my usual channels.

I watch both randomly and on a schedule. If DH is home, we watch a game show while we eat dinner - so around 5:30 or 6:00. And I usually watch something on the iPad while I walk on the treadmill or do dishes. But just sitting on the couch and watching something is more of a "when I'm in the mood" thing. I also often use it for background noise instead of music, so not really paying complete attention, but it's on.

I rarely sit down and watch TV anymore half the time if I do or false sleep🤣🤣
I like to have the evening news on when I’m fixing something to eat and then cleaning up upon occasions I will sit down and watch the world news
Otherwise I don’t sit down and watch TV anymore in the evenings it’s a rarity the shows I want to watch aren’t on right now it’s all reruns
Sometimes on Sundays I may watch a movie and actually stay awake
Saturday night I have three shows I enjoy watching it may not always sit down and watch him I’ll be doing other things but I’ll have the TV on
My TV is always on in the background I do have some sports I watch on the weekends but I don’t sit and watch it I have it on but I’m doing other things I may stop to catch a few things as are happening
Know if my shows come back on then I will have certain days that I will sit down and watch them but I watch a whole lot less TV these days and then ever before it’s not that I don’t have time I’ve just found other things to do so not that I don’t enjoy TV I’m just fine again other things to do but I want to stress if I’m in the house my TV is on

Well this only mentions night time but our tv goes on at 7-8 every morning to watch our local morning show.

Then it usually at 6-11 at night. 6 because of the news of the day than it sometimes on just for background noise . Or some of the shows I watch start at 8-11.

I get off work about 5:45 during the work week, and the tv goes on after that, if my husband has not already turned it on, he gets off work at 4:30. TV stays until we go to bed, in the 10 or 11 o'clock hour. I don't actively watch all that time, but it's very common for me to watch 1-4 hours of tv a night, and TONS more on the weekend. I've been quite the tv addict since the 70s, so this is not new.
currently binging Parks and Recreation. Watched about 4 or 5 episodes last night before Ahsoka.

I begin watching TV with Jeopardy, and here it plays at 7. After that, I just may read, do a puzzle or just do something else.

In out house it is usually on in the evenings, if we are home, from 6:00 - 10:00 pm. We only have one and it is in our main living space; it’s not that anybody is necessarily even watching it. :confused3 Habit, I guess.

We usually have the TV on from about 5AM - 7:30 AM in the morning, catching the morning local news/weather. We usually do the same around 5:30 or 6PM for the local evening news. After that, it depends. Since we've gotten rid of Directv (we have a antenna which gets our local news channels and about a gazillion other channels we haven't explored yet + we already have Prime, and Acorn) we have noticed we have the TV on less, although as we go from summer to fall and darker earlier I think we will be watching more soon.
Like others noted above, we have graduated to (re)watching series. Doc Martin, X-files and another one I have forgotten the name of currently.
I couldn't live without my local news though. We did have Youtube TV for a while, but once we figured out the antenna we let that go as well.

DH and I watch TV together starting after dinner until about 8.
But we also watch during lunch and I watch when all my chores are done, maybe 3 or so

Ours is almost never on. Sometimes on a weekend evening we'll have it on to watch a movie. We used to watch Jeopardy almost every night but we got out of the habit awhile ago.

I no longer watch TV in the traditional sense because we don't have a service for that. We just watch streaming services like Netflix, Amazon or Disney+. We used to watch regular cable but it just got too expensive for the very few hours we used it.

I love ResortTV1! I watch that while doing chores around the house or if I actually intend to relax on the couch, it's on in the background. We watch a lot of Disney YouTube shows. Don't have too much time to watch in general.

I'd say it's "after dinner" for us... but dinnertime can fluctuate depending on what else is going on. I'd say 7 is a pretty good average, I think. (I don't generally keep the TV on if we're not watching it. I grew up with it on all the time for "background noise," but when my oldest was a baby he would sit and watch ANYTHING like a zombie -- literally he'd watch the stocks scroll on C-SPAN with rapt attention. So I started turning the TV off unless we were actively watching something. Now I savor the silence.)

After work DW and I take a walk, make dinner and watch a couple of hours of TV. We're currently binging our way through Call The Midwife (we're at Season 10). It's all very exciting.

DH and I start watching TV together after dinner at 7 with Jeopardy and Wheel OF. Then I have my reality shows like Big Brother, Challenge, Survivor and Amazing Race. So whenever they are on, I watch. DH takes over the TV otherwise. And he usually won't stay to watch my shows so either he goes to bed to watch other stuff or I sometimes do. And tonight we will watch the drop of Only Murders together...around my epi of BB.

I'm with you on all those TV programs!!

I watch TV randomly, gotta settle in and relax 1st before the tv gets put on., and then there's the hot tub.. so TV will wait.. lol

We don't regularly watch TV but we do usually sit from 6-7:30ish to play video games as a family, watch a movie, etc.
