Do you have the apps on your smart phone organized, or do you just have them wherever they landed when you installed the app?



For Me…..My apps are very organized, but I’m also a pretty organized person.
Page 1 - most used (almost every day)
Page 2 - Banking and second most used (often, not every day)
Page 3 - News and Entertainment
Page 4 - Shopping
Page 5 - Games

I’m a super organized person - several folders in my phone for all my APPs - I like a clean screen - on phone and computer - why have screen pic if you can’t see it ??
No one else in my family does this and can’t stand that I do - not sure what impact my doing this has on them ?? I think it’s their guilt for being disorganized envious you know

They are wherever they decided to go when I installed them. Sometimes, for reasons I don’t understand, they shift locations, or even combine under a “parent app,” such as Utilities.

DH says I can organize them, and delete the pre-loaded ones I never use, but I kind of like the mass confusion,

Mine are somewhat organized. I have folders where like things are grouped, but then I also have a mish-mosh of ones that aren't in the folders.

Originally, zero organization. But now I know where they all are so if they were moved I would feel discombobulated and disorganized. LOL

Almost exactly this. Everything in single row folders at the top of the screen in categories that make sense to me with the most important ones in the dock for easy access. On the next page I have a row of apps I use daily under the folders. The only exception to this is when we’re doing something like going to Disney or flying. I will pull those apps from their folders and put them on the Home Screen since I’m using them all day for days at a time. Now that we have the ability for widgets on the lock screen I’ll put them there and it won’t bug me having them out and about. My contacts are also hyper organized with full names, nicknames, birthdays, who they are to me or my family, all numbers associated with them and work and home addresses as well. I have all doctors, insurance, customer service lines and numbers for frequented stores and restaurants etc. I get teased about all this but if they need info guess who they ask?

Both DDs do the customized widget thing but DS and DH’s phones are utter chaos. Who keeps their messaging or settings app in the middle of a bunch of gaming apps on page two? Those two. It’s a little surprising with DS because he’s very much like me when it comes to organizing our things. Give us storage containers and we’re happy campers.

I have an extra blank page I can scroll to if I want to just look at my background picture.

Somewhat organized. I have the most important ones on the first page and sort of grouped together. I have my grocery apps in a folder. I have removed several apps that came with my phone and others that I don’t use but still want to keep are on the second page.

Somewhat organized. I don't want to swipe a lot to find apps, so I keep most of them in folders so I only have to swipe once to get to a new screen.

I utilize my phone for very little; calls, texts and checking email while I’m out of the office primarily. I have as few apps as possible and I hate using them. Like @RedAngie said, they are wherever they decided to go when I downloaded them; mostly all on the home screen because there are so few.

A brief aside for Canadians and travellers to Canada - the ArriveCan app will no longer be needed as of September 30. I will be thrilled to delete that sucker forever!!

Mine are pretty organized. Streaming apps are all together, food delivery apps are all together, most played games are all together. Some are just place fillers but I know where they all are. Across the bottom I have text app, phone, Twitter, and Facebook.

Not organized at all and I get frustrated trying to find some of them. I’m aware you can organize them, but need to figure that out.

Mine are in folders. I use my phone for everything and its nice to have it organized.

Mine are all easy to find, having become second-hand. That and I had to free up space, so I don't have tons of them to begin with.
